iPhone 17 Pro Max Front Camera Repair

An iPhone 17 Pro Max whose selfie camera opens to black, will not focus, or shows a haze that cleaning does not fix needs a new front camera. On this phone that is the 18MP Center Stage front camera, sitting at the top of the display next to the Face ID sensors. About the iPhone 17 Pro MaxThe iPhone 17 Pro Max (2025) uses an 18MP Center Stage front camera at the top of its 6.9-inch ProMotion OLED display. Because it sits right beside Face ID, we treat it as precision work and never rush it. At launch it had the biggest battery Apple had put in an iPhone, inside the same full-width camera plateau design as the 17 Pro. Common questionsWill Face ID still work after an iPhone 17 Pro Max front camera repair? On the iPhone 17 Pro Max the selfie camera sits in the same TrueDepth assembly as the Face ID sensors, and those sensors are paired to your phone. We keep your original Face ID components, replace only the camera, and confirm Face ID works before the phone goes back. Will my iPhone show an unknown part message? If the camera fitted is not a genuine Apple part, iOS can show Unknown Part in Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History. The notice does not stop you using the phone, and we test focus, Portrait mode and video calls before return. Ask us if you would rather have a genuine Apple camera. How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 17 Pro Max?Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 17 Pro Max. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one. Talk to a real technician at 888-494-4349, or email support@ifixyouri.com.
