iPhone 12 Pro Max Translucent Matte Magnetic Case

Give Your iPhone 12 Pro Max a Second Life — In StyleThe iPhone 12 Pro Max is still one of the best big-screen iPhones ever made: a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display, a pro camera system, and the first generation of MagSafe. If you are keeping yours running into 2026 and beyond, it deserves better than a stretched-out bargain-bin case. The iPhone 12 Pro Max Translucent Matte Magnetic Case from Gorilla Cases is engineered exclusively for the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch, released 2020) — a frosted, fingerprint-resistant Desert Gold shell with a built-in magnetic ring for MagSafe accessories and 14 ft military-grade drop protection. It shows the Apple logo through a refined matte window, feels silky in the hand, and shrugs off the drops that end lesser phones. 10 Key Features Translucent Matte Finish: Frosted TPU/PC back shows your phone's color and the Apple logo while hiding fingerprints and smudges. MagSafe-Compatible Magnetic Ring: Built-in magnets align with MagSafe chargers, car mounts, and wallets for a confident snap-on hold. 14 ft Military-Grade Drop Protection: Rigid polycarbonate backplane and flexible TPU bumper rated for drops up to 14 feet (4.3 m). 4 Corner Airbags: Built-in air cushions at each corner absorb and disperse impact energy where phones land most. Raised Screen Lip (1.5 mm): Keeps the display off tables and counters when laid face down. Raised Camera Guard (2.0 mm): A taller bezel ring shields the pro triple-lens array from scratches. Nano Antioxidant Layer: Resists stains, sweat, and scratching so the frosted look lasts. Recycled Materials: Contains at least 50% recycled material, certified to the Recycled Claim Standard (Blended). Wireless Charging Friendly: Works with MagSafe and standard Qi pads (15 W typical) without removing the case. Comfort-Grip Sides: Soft-touch frosted texture adds grip without silicone stickiness — slides in and out of pockets easily. Materials & SpecificationsThe case pairs a rigid polycarbonate (PC) backplane with a flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) perimeter bumper — hard where it needs structure, soft where it needs to absorb. The frosted translucent surface carries a nano antioxidant layer that resists stains, sweat, and scratches, and the material mix is at least 50% recycled (Recycled Claim Standard Blended certified). Bezel geometry: 1.5 mm raised lip over the screen and 2.0 mm over the camera array. Weight approximately 1.4 oz (40 g) — estimated — and approximately 2 mm of added thickness (estimated). The embedded magnetic ring is MagSafe-aligned for chargers, mounts, and wallets. Fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch, 2020) only. The MagSafe Power User: Wallet on the back, charger on the desk, mount in the car — the magnetic ring keeps the whole ecosystem working. The Hand-Me-Down Parent: Passing the phone to a teenager? Corner airbags and a 2 mm camera lip survive the locker-room treatment. The Minimalist Professional: Wants a warm Desert Gold tone and zero fingerprints in meetings — the frosted matte delivers both. The Pocket Commuter: Soft-touch sides slide in and out of jeans without snagging, unlike sticky silicone cases. Features & Benefits at a Glance Feature Benefit Frosted translucent matte back Shows the phone, hides fingerprints MagSafe-aligned magnet ring Chargers, wallets, and mounts snap on securely 14 ft military-grade rating Real protection from real-height drops 4 corner airbags Impact absorbed at the usual failure points 1.5 mm screen / 2.0 mm camera lips Glass and lenses never touch flat surfaces Nano antioxidant coating Resists stains, sweat, and scratches 50%+ recycled material (RCS certified) Protection with a smaller footprint Soft-touch TPU sides Grippy in hand, smooth in the pocket Installation Guide1. Wipe your iPhone 12 Pro Max with a microfiber cloth and remove any old case. 2. Seat the bottom of the phone into the lower half of the case, aligning the Lightning port cutout. 3. Press the top corners until the TPU bumper snaps flush all the way around. 4. Run a finger around the edge and over the camera ring to confirm even seating. 5. Test the buttons and snap on a MagSafe accessory to confirm magnet alignment — installation takes under two minutes. TroubleshootingMagSafe wallet feels loose: Confirm the wallet is centered on the ring; magnetic strength is strongest dead-center — rotate slightly until you feel it lock. Charging is slow: Use a genuine MagSafe or 15 W Qi charger; old 5 W pads charge slowly through any case. Corner will not seat flush: Remove that corner and re-snap it first, before the rest of the frame. Matte back shows oily marks: Wipe with a slightly damp microfiber cloth — the nano layer releases oils easily; avoid harsh solvents. Buttons feel firm at first: Normal for a new TPU bumper; they break in within a day or two of use. Frequently Asked Questions1. Which phone does this fit?
