Linear Ball Bearing IPFC16G 1" ID Round Flanged Center

Double linear ball bearing 1" ID round-flanged, center mount featuring a heat-treated alloy steel shell for durability. The twin-size design is equivalent to two standard-sized linear ball bearings mounted back to back, with the round flange formed at the center of the extended shell for balanced mounting and increased resistance to moment loading. A low coefficient of friction, recirculating hardened steel balls, and a molded polymer resin retainer support smooth, quiet, high-speed operation. Linear ball bearings excel in cantilevered applications because their rolling-element design handles overhung loads and offset drive forces without being constrained by the restrictive 2:1 binding rule that applies to plain bearings. Standard double seals provide added protection at no extra cost. Double size equals two standard bearings mounted back to back Round flange is formed at the center of the extended heat-treated alloy steel shell Center flange improves mounting balance and moment-load resistance Nominal ID: 1" Nominal OD: 1.563" Shaft Diameter: 1" Max Static Load: 706 lb (3,140 N) Max Dynamic Load: 353 lb (1,570 N) Temperature Rating: -20°C to 80°C (-4°F to 176°F) Case Material: Steel shell (stainless steel available) Retainer: Molded polymer, recirculating hardened steel balls Seals: Standard double seals included Max Speed: Up to 8 m/s (315 in/s) Interchangeable with industry-standard and Simplicity® plain bearings Low coefficient of friction supports smooth, high-speed linear motion Heat-treated alloy steel shell provides strength and durability Stainless steel shell available Molded polymer resin retainer helps reduce operating noise Recirculating hardened steel balls provide smooth, responsive linear travel Standard double seals included at no additional cost Excels in cantilevered applications with overhung loads or offset drive forces Not constrained by the restrictive 2:1 binding rule that applies to plain bearings
