iOptron CEM120

Revolutionizing the way you mount your equipment... Now featuring an enhanced payload capacity! Understanding the ever-increasing need for a sturdy and precise equatorial mount that can handle larger scopes and sophisticated imaging setups, we bring you the iOptron CEM120. This mount takes advantage of our game-changing "center balance" design, which concentrates the mount and the payload weight directly over the pier or tripod for superior stability. This design innovation allows the CEM120 to support an impressive payload of up to 115 lbs (52 kg). When it comes to performance, the CEM120 shines with a low periodic tracking error of just ±3.5 arc seconds. But that's not all. This mount also features a state-of-the-art cable management system with a multitude of ports placed strategically to avoid cable mess and reduce the risk of cable damage. Plus, it brings new tech to the CEM lineup, including Wi-Fi and LAN capabilities for remote operation, and user-friendly, dependable clutches on both axes. Want to go heavier on equipment? Optional heavy-duty Tri-Pier 360 and Permanent Pier are up for grabs. Looking for a lighter setup? We've got an optional Tri-Pier adapter (8036-120) that can also be adapted for permanent pier installations. Features Redesigned center-balanced equatorial mount (CEM) for increased payload and natural stability Ideal for both visual and astrophotography applications Supports a hefty payload of 115 lbs (52 kg), while the mount itself weighs 57 lbs (26 kg) Intuitive and reliable gear clutches for smooth operation Fine-tuned altitude and azimuth adjustments High-precision stepper motor boasting 0.07 arcsec accuracy for exact GOTO and spot-on tracking Special polar alignment routine for users without a view of the Pole Star Comes with the Go2Nova® 8410 controller featuring Advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO Technology and an integrated heater Low periodic error (PE) of less than ±3.5 arcsec and Permanent Periodic Error Correction (PPEC) 32-channel Global Positioning System (GPS) onboard In-built WiFi and LAN for remote functionality ST-4 autoguiding port included Advanced cable management features for added convenience Spring-loaded, individually adjustable Losmandy saddle for easy adjustments What's in the Box?
