Its IOMAX construction produces an ultra-tacky surface that connects the hands firmly to the club, while a low torque rating of 3.0 keeps the grip stable and resistant to twisting through impact. IOMIC positions it for players who want tour-grade feedback — the kind of direct, connected feel that lets you sense exactly what the clubface is doing. Compared to a softer, more cushioned grip, the X-Evolution leans toward firmness and responsiveness rather than dampening. With an M60 core, it installs on standard .600 grip-core shafts and fits the majority of iron and wood builds. Who It's For The X-Evolution 2.3 suits players who prioritize control and feedback over a soft, muted feel — typically better and more aggressive players who want a taped-in, connected hold and don't want the grip moving under a fast, hard swing. The 2.3 standard profile gives a fuller feel that helps quiet the hands. The all-black finish makes it a natural fit for golfers building a clean, blacked-out setup.
