INVICTO TEE

The Quote “May the wind always be at your back, and the sun always upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.” — Diego to George Blow (2001) The Meaning The word INVICTO means undefeated. And some stories of the undefeated deserve to be told again — not as folklore, but as fuel. On May 5, 1862, the people of Puebla, Mexico stood their ground against one of the world’s strongest armies. Outnumbered. Outgunned. But not outwilled. The French retreated. The dream remained. This is the true history behind what many know today as Cinco de Mayo — though the meaning often gets lost in the margaritas. We’re not calling this a Cinco de Mayo tee. We’re calling it a nod to resilience. A salute to standing on business. A reminder to protect your vision when the odds say fold. The Langston Lion, reimagined through the artistry of Calavera tradition, honors the spirit of Mexican culture — where the fight never dies and the dream lives on.
