Introduction to Hei Cha Tea Sampler

Explore a very unique selection of what is known as one of the original "post-fermented" teas, Hei Cha. Taste a curated selection of Liu Bao, Fu Brick, Qian Liang, Tian Jian, and Hei Cha Zhuan, and develop an appreciation for the distinct aroma, flavor and mouthfeel of these amazing teas. This type of tea is very old, going back into history as one of the original "post-fermented" teas. Here we have tea leaves that are piled up and fermented using different kinds of post-production techniques. The result is the characteristic "golden flower" or tiny fungus that creates a rather unique therapeutic brew of sour-sweet tea.** This tea is also aged similarly to pu-erh and has become increasingly popular. We entreat you to try this lesser-known type of fermented tea! **Because there is a possibility the golden flowers were inoculated using wheat flour we cannot guarantee this tea is safe for those with Celiac Disease or those who have severe gluten-induced allergies **  Here's the 6 teas that you'll get in this sampler! 50 grams - 2019 Gao Jia Shan "Golden Prosperity Pig Cometh" Fu Zhuan Tea 50 grams - 2017 Mojun Fu Cha "Mojun Yi Hao" Fu Brick Tea 25 grams - 2006 "Yao Xiang" Aged Liu Bao Tea 25 grams - 2010 Cha Yu Lin "Monkey Jian" Tian Jian Hei Cha Tea 50 grams - 2011 Gao Jia Shan "Hei Cha Zhuan" Wild Tea of Hunan 50 grams - 2009 Gao Jia Shan "Qian Liang Cha" Hunan Hei Cha Tea   ALLERGEN ALERT!!!   ** Because there is a possibility the golden flowers were inoculated using wheat flour we cannot guarantee this tea is safe for those with Celiac Disease or those that have severe gluten induced allergies **
