Statement Rings - 7 hours

In this fun and challenging class students will learn how to make a bezel setting for a cabochon stone (which has a flat bottom and rounded top). Stones will be available and included in the price. We will go over how to get a snug fit for the bezel, the basics of soldering, how to get a clean bond without melting your metal, general ring design, and embellishments like stamping or hammering. This class works well for total beginners with no experience as well as people who have already been making jewelry and want a crash course on soldering. Included Materials - All silver materials and stones are included in this workshop price, with the option of a brass backplate for a mixed metals look. A selection of stones will be available but you can feel free to bring your own as well. This class is limited to 4 people. For those interested in buying tools on their own after class, a full tool list will be provided as well a discount code to get 6 months of wholesale prices from my normal supplier. Class size: 4 students $250 + $35 materials fee = $285
