Into the Light

After drinking in the Yellowstone River, a bighorn ram saunters up the bank during the rut. With the river lost entirely to deep shade, this was they type of high-contrast scene that I was looking for to shoot in black and white. Tack-sharp focus and an amazing play of light and shadow make this one of my favorite wildlife images.  This is a limited edition print offered on archival quality photo paper as well as ready-to-hang aluminum. Each comes signed and numbered and ships free to the lower 48.
