Intesified (LP)

A classic collection of rocksteady and early reggae, Intensified captures the infectious rhythms and vibrant harmonies that made Desmond Dekker & The Aces international stars. The follow-up to their breakthrough album Action!, this release features some of Dekker's biggest hits, including the timeless chart-toppers “Poor Me Israelites” and “Ah It Mek”, which dominated both the UK and US charts from the late ’60s into the ’70s. Also included is the upbeat “Sweet Music”, a tribute to the group’s signature vocal harmonies, and the iconic “Rude Boy Train”, which cemented Dekker’s influence as a pioneer of the 'rude boy' movement in reggae culture. Packed with energy and irresistible groove, Intensified is a must-have for fans of vintage reggae and rocksteady.
