Interpretations Volume 7

We are incredibly excited to publish the collaborative design series Interpretations by none other than Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki! This series follows the journey of two friends from opposite sides of the world combining their love of their countries (Argentina and Finland) and beautiful knitwear. Volume 1 marked the beginning of an entirely new approach to designing, and their dream project has evolved to bring your their 7tth volume. Each volume includes six themes: six words with two designs inspired by each word, showing a personal take on each of these themes. The 6 words Joji and Veera have chosen for their new collection are Wonder, Root, Wild, Natural, Beyond, & Light! These lovely books are destined to become collectors items, not to mention beautiful resources of patterns that you’re going to want to come back to time and again. This year is the first time the two designers couldn’t be together to shoot the pattern photography for Interpretations. Due to travel restrictions, Joji and Veera shot their photos in their respective homelands of Argentina and Finland. Nevertheless, we think this volume is just as cohesive as its predecessors, and reflects the hard work Joji and Veera put into making Volume 7 during a global pandemic! Join us on 23rd November to see the beautiful pattern previews! Volume 7 features 12 garment and accessory knitting patterns from a variety of yarn producers including: Wobble Gobble Yarn // Kässäkerho Pom Pom // Martin’s Lab // Magpie Fibers // Barnyard Knits // Retrosaria Rosa Pomar + La Bien Aimée // Suburban Stitcher // Walk Collection and more! Printed in the UK // softcover // 116 pages Includes digital download – Note: This publication does not come with an automatic digital download, the PDF can only be accessed by redeeming the unique download code that is printed in your hard copy.
