Aquatop Internal Sponge Filter

Sponge filters have been around for decades and there’s a reason these filters are so popular. Sponge filters do an excellent job of clearing impurities from aquarium water and are amazingly simple and inexpensive to operate. The Aquatop CAF can be used in systems up to 25 gallons and is simple to install. Use it as a stand-alone filter or for breeders and hatcheries; you won't be disappointed with its performance.  Like all the CAF Classic Sponge Filters, the CAF runs silently and offers excellent filtering while oxygenating the water. The specially developed foam materials support the colonization of beneficial bacteria, allowing for mechanical and biological filtration, which will break down harmful ammonia and nitrite material resulting in a cleaner living environment for your fish.  Features: •  For freshwater and saltwater aquariums •  Install with either an air pump or a powerhead •  Provides reliable filtration in fry aquariums and quarantine systems •  Add extra biological filtration in heavily stocked aquariums •  Models designed for virtually any size system  Specifications: CAF-10: Aquariums up to 10 gallons 60 pores/linear inch Diameter: 2" (base); 2" (sponge) Uplift tube height: 1.5" Sponge height: 1.75" Full height: 3.5" Uplift I/D: 9/16" CAF-25: Aquariums up to 25 gallons 40 pores/linear inch Diameter: 2.75" (base); 3.125" (sponge) Uplift tube height: 3" Sponge height: 3.5" Full height: 6.75" Uplift I/D: 3/4" CAF-40: Aquariums up to 40 gallons 40 pores/linear inch Diameter: 3.25" (base); 5" (sponge) Uplift tube height: 3" Sponge height: 3.5" Full height: 6.75" Uplift I/D: 3/4" CAF-60: Aquariums up to 60 gallons 40 pores/linear inch Diameter: 3.25" (base); 5" (sponge) Uplift tube height: 3" Sponge height: 5.5" Full height: 8.5" Uplift I/D: 3/4" CAF-180: Aquariums up to 180 gallons 35 pores/linear inch Diameter: 3.5" (base); 6.5" (sponge) Uplift tube height: 6" Sponge height: 7.75" Full height: 13.75" Uplift I/D: 1" Includes free air stone
