Insul-Bright 45"

Keep things cool (or hot!) with Insul-Bright, the industry-standard needle-punched insulated material designed for functional home projects. Whether you are crafting for your own kitchen or sewing handmade gifts, Insul-Bright provides the thermal protection needed for modern, practical sewing. This innovative material consists of polyester fibers needle-punched through a reflective metalized polyester film. The polyester fibers resist conduction, while the metallic film reflects radiant energy—hot or cold—back to its source. The result is a breathable, durable insulator that won't break down with repeated washing. Pro Tip: Beyond the kitchen, the subtle "crinkle" sound of the internal film makes this a favorite for makers of baby soft books and pet toys! Important Safety Note: Insul-Bright is NOT recommended for use in the microwave. At least one layer of cotton batting is recommended when used for pot holders or oven mitts to absorb condensation.
