The Engineering A current-generation AKM DAC chip clocked by high-grade TCXO oscillators, with fully independent power supplies for the digital and analogue stages. Keeping those supplies separate is the right call: digital circuitry generates noise in the normal course of its operation, and sharing a rail with the analogue output stage introduces contamination exactly where you least want it. The PerformanceDAC Board treats them as distinct circuits from the start. Gold-plated RCA output. PCM up to 32bit/768kHz, Native DSD up to DSD512. Plug directly into your integrated or preamplifier.
