Innova Star Tern (Reaper Edition)

The Innova Star Tern (Reaper Edition) is Innova's understable speed 12 distance driver, the Tern, in grippy Star plastic. Flight Numbers: 12 / 6 / -2 / 2 Star grips well from the first throw and beats in at a steady pace, so the turn stays close to the numbers on the box for a good stretch of its life before it opens up further with wear. The rim is wide at 2.3 cm but not maxed out like some 12 speed drivers, which keeps the release comfortable. This is often the first high speed driver that actually clicks for an intermediate arm after cheaper starter discs, since the turn and glide combine to carry a fairway bomb without needing pro level power. Thrown flat with moderate speed it turns over smoothly and finishes with a light fade, and a lot of casual groups pass one around specifically because it gets everyone easy distance regardless of arm speed. Advanced players finesse it on shorter holes for accuracy rather than max distance, working a controlled anhyzer or a gentle turnover line. Ready to add speed to your bag? The GStar Tern softens up faster for a grippier release, and the Halo Star Tern adds extra rim weight for more stability. Browse the full Tern collection. Speed 12, glide 6, turn -2, fade 2.
