Innova Champion Glow Teebird (Jennifer Allen Tour Series)

The Innova Champion Glow TeeBird, in Jennifer Allen's Tour Series stamp, is the original stable fairway driver that most other control drivers get compared to. It's a classic shape: comfortable rim, reliable glide, and a fade you can count on. Flight Numbers: 7 / 5 / 0 / 2 Champion Glow starts stiff and softens gradually with use, gaining grip and a slightly quicker turnover as it wears in without losing the overall flight. It holds its glow charge well for night rounds and takes normal wear and tear without chunking. The rim is a comfortable, medium size that works for backhand and forehand throwers alike, which is a big part of why the mold has stayed popular for so long. Thrown flat it goes straight with real glide for a 7 speed, then hooks up into a clean, dependable fade at the end. It's the fairway driver you reach for on most holes that don't demand a specific turnover or a fight against a strong headwind. New players get an easy, comfortable grip and a flight that behaves the same way every time, while more experienced throwers use it as a workhorse control driver for distance off the tee. If you already carry a beat-in favorite in this mold, this is the disc that replaces it without changing how your rounds play. If your misses are usually long, the Star TeeBird runs the same mold in a plastic that grips and controls a little more. Want more distance from the same shape? Try the Metal Flake TeeBird.
