Just what everyone has always wished for.  The original bell tent is an American icon, designed during the American Civil War by Henry Hopkins Sibley in 1878. They became the standard issue tent across the military and then disappeared for a long time. With the rise of glamping we started to see bell tents at British festivals like Glastonbury. Normally a small populated area with no hotels so tent hotels became the thing.
