Infinity Tools High Speed Steel Planer & Jointer Knives, 1/8" Thick, 3-Pc. Sets

Premium High Speed Steel Knives For Your Planer & Jointer! Note: All the knife options on this page are 1/8" thick and come in 3-pc. sets. The knives are solid, meaning they don't have any holes or slots in them.  It may not come as a surprise that your OEM planer and jointer knives are usually made to fit a high price point but not necessarily an equally high standard of quality. Our 3-Pc. Planer and Jointer knife sets are designed to provide extended life between sharpening and are made with quality as our first priority. Each one is forged from a premium grade of European D2 High Speed Tool Steel which is produced in the famed Bohler Steel Mill in Austria. We specify a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC to maximize abrasion resistance, increase the steel's ability to hold a cutting edge, and improve its resistance to deformation at elevated temperatures. But using ultra-premium material is just the beginning. The production process we use sets us apart. We temper this special steel in a 3-chamber vacuum furnace and then oil quench it to form a perfectly uniform knife with added toughness & shock resistance. This exclusive process is more costly than inferior methods but it optimizes stress reduction and increases the longevity of each knife we produce. Finally, we precision grind each knife to a razor finish to ensure you get a perfect cut. Just measure your current knives for length, height and thickness and compare them to the sizes in our product selector above.
