Autism Acceptance' Stainless-Steel Infinity Necklace

OUR CAUSE   To celebrate Sensory Processing Awareness Month, what better way to commemorate your love for someone with autism than with this dainty infinity charm necklace?   The infinity charm symbolizes including and integrating autistic people into general society since there is no beginning or end to the sign.   Wear this necklace with pride to represent an acceptance for autistic people, or gift it to adults or kids on the spectrum to remind them that they don't have to walk alone and that we are stronger together!      WHY AN INFINITY SYMBOL?   The infinity symbol has replaced the old puzzle piece logo that originated from 1963. The puzzle piece symbolized that those with Autism were a problem to solve instead of people to be accepted and understood.   As our understanding of autism has evolved, we’ve learned that it’s a spectrum of completely different needs and experiences for each autistic individual. People in the autistic community don’t see themselves as having any “missing pieces” or being “too puzzling” to fit into society.    To reflect this spectrum and the diversity of each autistic person, the infinity sign became the new symbol for autism in February of 2018.    According to goodautismschool.com, “This symbol has come to represent the need for us to be more sensitive to changes that lead to better lives and results for individuals with autism and their families."     BUY WITH PURPOSE   Support the National Autism Association Inc with every purchase! Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) affects one in sixty-eight U.S. children. With every purchase of the bracelets, we will donate a portion of the profits to our main non-profit organization; National Autism Association Inc.      MADE WITH LOVE    Each necklace has been handmade with lots of love and care using a high-quality charm and stainless steel chain. Allow 1-3 days for us to make your order before it is shipped from here.     • Handmade with love • High-quality infinity piece charm • High-quality stainless steel chain • Each necklace comes with a craft card, which is 100% recycled • One size fits all (chain length 17.8 inches + pendant size 0.4 x 0.8 inches)   Let's embrace different!   Please note: Product color may vary slightly due to photographic lighting sources or your monitor settings.
