Indigo Dye Kit

Perhaps the most loved of the natural dyes, Indigo blue has captivated the world. This kit from our fair-trade partner at " For The Love of Colour", Indigo Kit, will not disappoint! Created for folks who have always wanted to try the (centuries-old!) technique of dyeing with indigo but were intimidated by the process. Contains the pre-measured ingredients to create one organic indigo vat, with which you can dye fabric, yarn, garments, and home goods in gorgeous shades of blue. The indigo is 100% plant based, and the process is nothing short of magical, as you watch the fibers turn from green to blue as they oxidize. Comes with detailed instructions aimed at an absolute beginner, which guide the user step by step. Packaged in a sturdy, recyclable kraft paper box which has been silk-screened by hand, they make a beautiful gift! Ingredients: Indigofera tinctoria extract, fructose fruit sugar, pickling lime This kit pairs well with the Clay Resist Kit for Dyers who are ready to delve further into the craft of natural dying with Indigo.
