Indian Hawthorn

Indian Hawthorn is perfect for smaller gardens and areas around house foundations. These are low maintenance and grow up to heights and widths of anywhere between three and six feet. Indian Hawthorns produce beautiful white or pink blooms in the spring that are pleasantly fragrant, which later change to blue berries that steadily feed wildlife. These grow best in hardiness zones between 8 and 11. Because of that, Indian Hawthorns do not tolerate freezing temperatures well at all. Clara Indian Hawthorn – This evergreen variety of Indian Hawthorn can grow up to 4 feet tall and between 3 and 4 feet wide. Additionally, it sports beautiful compact clusters of small, elegant white flowers from late winter to spring making it the perfect addition to a winter garden. It’s pretty cold hardy. Pinkie Indian Hawthorn – Growing at only 2 to 3 feet tall and between 3 and 4 feet wide, this compact variety of Indian Hawthorn packs a pink punch with clusters of elegant pink blooms all over it from late winter to early spring. Pink Lady Indian Hawthorn – Much like the smaller version, the Pinkie Indian Hawthorn, the Pink Lady Hawthorn showcases beautiful small pink flowers, but the plant can grow anywhere between 4 and 6 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide.
