About Proven Winners®: Proven Winners® ColorChoice Shrubs offers flowering shrubs, evergreens, and trees that have been tested for eight to ten years to ensure they outperform conventional varieties. That means bigger flowers, more colorful foliage, reblooming, disease resistance, new habits, or anything that makes them more beautiful and easier to grow in your landscape or garden. Planting & Care 1. Planting: When planting, choose a location that receives partial to full shade. This plant requires at least 4 hours of sunlight daily for optimal blooming and overall health. While it can tolerate full sun, the large flowers and foliage will demand significant watering. It's best to plant in soil that has been enriched with compost or other organic matter. For the best growth and bloom performance, plant in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with a pH level between 6.0 and 7.0. 2. Watering: Regular watering 2 to 3 times a week keeps this plant healthy and happy, especially during dry periods. Once established, it can tolerate moderate drought, but it will bloom best with consistent moisture. 3. Pruning: The Incrediball blooms on new wood and should be pruned in late winter or early spring. Light pruning in late winter or early spring helps shape the plant and remove any dead wood, ensuring a dense, rounded form. 4. Fertilizer: Using a starter fertilizer or a light application of an all-purpose liquid fertilizer at planting will help establish the plant quickly.
