Mercury incense

Mercury incense is blended to correspond to the planet Mercury and the Messenger God. It contains eight ingredients all ruled by Mercury , eight being the alchemical number magick to the Messenger planet. Like all the Planetary incenses, Mercury incense is prepared with Hermetic precision. It is composed only on Wednesdays, and during the exact hour of Mercury. Mercury incense is made in the daytime time hour of Mercury on Wednesdays following the New Moon, to incorporate the swift, energetic aspects of Sun. Mercury, the Messenger god, rules matters of communication, negotiation, divination, prediction, magick, illusion, learning, study, teaching, inventions, medicine, self improvement, and celibacy. He also aids in legal and courtroom issues. You can use Mercury incense as a devotional incense on Wednesdays, or to advance any magickal goal favored by the Messenger planet. Natural Magick incenses are composed of high quality resins, herbs, and sometimes essential oils. They are ritually hand ground on appropriate days of the week for Planetary influences and on the best day of the Moon's cycle for Lunar powers. Unlike most powder incenses, I use no "base" or filler to alter or dilute the powers of the active ingredients. These magick incenses are made to be burned on incense charcoals. Light the charcoal with match or lighter, set it in a flameproof incense burner or on a brick, rock or bowl of sand, pebbles, or salt. Allow the charcoal to light completely and then sprinkle on a pinch the incense. Add more pinches as desired. See below for more detailed instructions.
