In Slaughter Natives

[[Release Detail]][[Release Description]] Infinite Fog Presents the Reissue Series of the Legendary Cult - In Slaughter Natives! Our last collaboration with In Slaughter Natives took place in 2016 when we released "Mort Aux Vaches" on vinyl. Since then, we've been constantly receiving inquiries about new releases from the project, and now we can finally announce: the debut album ISN is returning. All these years it has remained the most requested reissue among our audience - and now it's happening. Everything fans have been dreaming about for all these years. During nearly four decades of existence, six full-length albums and countless unforgettable live performances worldwide, In Slaughter Natives has become a source of inspiration for countless musicians. The project transcends the boundaries of industrial and ambient scenes, resonating with fans of extreme metal - clear proof that true darkness knows no genre limitations. The self-titled debut album, which redefined genres, was originally released in 1991 in a minuscule pressing of just 450 copies on the then-young Cold Meat Industry label and sold out instantly. This release became one of the first in CMI's history, establishing its unique sound alongside such projects as Brighter Death Now, Raison d'Être, MZ.412, Ordo Equilibrio, Aghast and Deutsch Nepal. ....Cathedral gothic, Nordic madrigals, Tibetan ritual oratories and the darkest dark-industrial orchestrations - seemingly incompatible elements fused into a unique sound that evokes comparisons with: Richard Wagner and Carl Orff; Early Swans and Laibach; Dead Can Dance and SPK; Skinny Puppy and Delerium; even Deathspell Omega and Elend. Today, this cornerstone of industrial music receives its first-ever vinyl release, remastered personally by Jouni Havukainen using the original master tapes. REVIEWS: Likewise in hindsight it can be acknowledged that In Slaughter Natives were a precursor the ‘martial industrial’ genre, although their trademark orchestral industrial doom has stood out from and has not been replicated by the majority of projects of a ‘martial industrial’ style (which are predominantly influenced by early to mid-20th century history and era). Thus In Slaughter Natives stand apart with their distinctive and recognisable neo-classical compositions, which articulate a hellish atmosphere of religious laments and amounts to a sonic representation of purgatorial damnation. Their music is a mix of heavy electronics, martial percussions, religious chants, orchestral samples and gruesome demonic vocals." - CMI "Many are the tales which could be told about Sweden's In Slaughter Natives. Far-reaching would be their influence and impact. When one thinks of this band, a host of images and emotions immediately present themselves. The sounds of fire and brimstone would be one facet to the work of this legendary band. A quieter, introspective ponderance is another. But perhaps the most enduring feel that this band has to me is one of psychosis coupled with a darkness that has never been equalled." - releasemagazine "Apocalyptic, tenebrous ritual music for the most austere practices and anti-social actions. There's nothing friendly here; just guts, glory, guns and violence. One of the heavier recensions of Industrial music, ISN's first creation is somewhat of a classic. ... Ceremonious bad dream. Some people's hells are another's heavens. The gates are open..." - No Endorphins "The atmospheres on this album are fucking gold. Numerous bands tried that but only some reach this level. (maybe a bit like puppy, or spk, in a sense, but much more atmospheric). - Earx [[Selling Points]] First time on vinyl 40th anniversary edition Absolute classics of Dark Ambient/Industral Classic Black Vinyl [[Catalog Number]]IF-134LP[[Artist]]In Slaughter Natives
