In Gentle Keeping

In Gentle KeepingA robed figure seated on a sunlit hillside beneath a gnarled olive tree. White sheep graze nearby on a golden slope. A misty valley — evoking ancient Jerusalem — unfolds in the distance, bathed in soft, diffused light breaking through billowing clouds. In Gentle Keeping by Jay Bryant Ward blends classical religious painting with contemporary soft realism to create a work that is quietly luminous and deeply still. Rendered in warm ivory, wheat, and soft gold tones, this horizontal fine art print brings a sense of peace and spiritual presence to any space — a living room, a bedroom, a hallway, or a place of worship. Whether chosen as a personal devotional piece or offered as a meaningful gift, this print speaks to the enduring comfort of faith expressed through beauty.
