In-Board Gasket

This is the adhesive-backed version of Grid Gasket. This is used on the outer-most perimeter of the AirWeights table with all fixture plate solutions, and can be used to create a gasket that is intended to be left in place, due to the adhesive backing on one side.  Adhesive gasket is used to quickly create a customized gasket configuration directly on the AirWeights vacuum table, or directly onto a fixture plate.  Simply create a perimeter that sits inside the intended cut area, surrounding one or more vacuum ports with any custom gasket shape. You can achieve any shape, and create multiple independent vacuum zones for multiple parts.  You can create a permanent re-useable work-holding pallet by installing adhesive gasket directly onto a fixture plate. When placing a gasket on a fixture plate, you can cut all the way through the part, eliminating the need for tabs or onion skins, and leaving you with a fully finished part. Recommended for repeated setups. You can install adhesive gasket directly into the AirWeights grid, however, with this method you do not want to cut below the bottom surface of your part since the table is directly below the workpiece. Set your Z height to leave a thin “onion skin” of material that can be easily broken off later to free your part from the material itself. Onion skin recommended thickness: .050” This gasket fits perfectly into the 1/4" AirWeights grid, and it stays securely in place thanks to the adhesive on one side of the foam.  Full Roll Length 75' (sold by the roll) 1/8”thickness  x 1/4” width Adhesive Backed (One Side)
