This PDF pattern bundle has four projects for you to try improvisational piecing. Make two different types of zipper pouches using improv piecing and hand embroidery for extra texture. One has boxed corners and one is flatter to fit in purses. Make two different style pillows using improv piecing. One is geometric and orderly and the other is very entropic and disorderly. The Entropic pillow has added sashiko stitches for a textural element. Find out more about improv piecing in this blog post. Have fun and explore this way to piece for those days when you just "cannot" follow pattern instructions. It's FREEING! It's FUN! These projects were featured in Sew News magazine in 2019.
