IMPOSSIBLE by Mickael Chatelain

Reach into your pocket and pull out a small envelope labeled “PREDICTION.” Place it somewhere obvious like on the table, in your spectator’s hand, anywhere you like. It’s just an envelope or so they think. Next, bring out your deck of cards. Show both the front and back it’s a full deck with all cards different. Spread them out and invite a spectator to make a free choice. Let’s say they select the KING OF HEARTS. Now, hand your spectator a sheet of paper with a few stickers and a marker. Ask them to sign one sticker. Take the signed sticker and place it directly on their chosen card right on the KING OF HEARTS. Here’s the kicker: that sticker is permanently attached to their card. No gimmicks, no sleights, nothing hidden. Display the card one more time and slowly return it to the deck. Let your audience take it in and then prepare them for the impossible. Explain that your spectators have been traveling through time. The choice they just made shouldn’t have been possible. Why? Because the KING OF HEARTS was already in the prediction envelope from the very beginning whether on the table or even in their hands! Open the envelope. Inside is a single card their exact choice. The signed sticker proves it: the spectator’s own autograph is on the card that magically appeared in your prediction. The result? Jaw-dropping amazement. This effect is: Easy to perform — no sleight of hand required. Totally flexible — the envelope can sit anywhere, even in your spectator’s hand. Instant reset — ready for multiple performances. Clean and visual — the card is fully displayed until the last second. Packed with variations — multiple ways to perform for maximum impact. Leave your spectators stunned with an effect they’ll be talking about long after the show ends. This is magic they’ll remember forever.
