Imperial Lemon is a FET‐based overdrive emulator that nails the vintage-sounding of the Orange amplifiers. Inspired by the now-discontinued Monarch Overdrive by EarthQuaker Devices, this pedal gives you the ability to boost both bass and treble frequencies. This is not an ordinary citron: with an organic, colorful tone that has a full low end and bright highs; the Lemon is certainly Imperial. This J-FET-based board was designed around the Pre-amp section of the Orange amplifiers. Squeeze the Imperial Lemon and get all that juicy thick and saturated fuzzy tones. The Baxendal EQ section comprises a treble and bass knob that boosts or cuts the desired frequencies. This section is placed in between the first and second gain stages, delivering its classic Orange Flavor.
