Imperial Gold OOLONG Tea

A masterfully crafted oolong with twisted jade leaves, a luminous golden brew, and distinct floral overtones that linger long after the last sip. What is Imperial Gold Oolong? Imperial Gold Oolong is a premium variation of a traditional Chinese oolong tea, crafted from dark and light green twisted leaves that produce a delicate, golden-hued brew. Oolong teas are partially oxidized — sitting between green and black tea — which gives them a unique complexity: the freshness and floral character of a green tea combined with the body and warmth of a black tea. This particular expression is prized for its pronounced floral overtones and elegant, aromatic cup. What does it taste like? Imperial Gold Oolong delivers a smooth, nuanced cup with distinct floral notes — orchid-like and subtly sweet — supported by a light, clean body and a long, pleasant finish. It does not have the astringency of a black tea or the grassiness of a green tea, making it approachable for a wide range of palates. The golden brew is as visually beautiful as it is aromatic. Does it contain caffeine? Yes. As an oolong tea, Imperial Gold contains a moderate amount of caffeine — generally less than black tea but more than most green teas, typically in the range of 30–50mg per cup. It is well suited to morning or afternoon drinking. How to brew Heat cold, filtered water to just below boiling — 190–200°F. Do not use a full rolling boil, as excess heat can dull the delicate floral notes. Use one rounded teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup. Pour the heated water over the leaves. Steep for 3–4 minutes, then remove the leaves promptly to prevent bitterness. Enjoy as-is — no milk or sugar needed. One 4 oz. tin yields approximately 40 cups of brewed tea. Oolong leaves can often be steeped a second time, with a slightly longer steep of 4–5 minutes, revealing new layers of flavor. Ingredients Oolong tea (China). No added flavoring. Contains caffeine. Why customers love it The best of both worlds. Oolong sits between green and black tea in oxidation — giving this cup the floral delicacy of a green tea and the warmth and body of a black tea. It is a genuinely distinctive drinking experience. A visually stunning brew. The twisted dark and light green leaves unfurl beautifully in hot water, and the resulting golden liquor is as elegant to look at as it is to drink — a sensory experience from leaf to cup. Smooth, floral, and never bitter. Brewed at the right temperature, Imperial Gold Oolong is exceptionally smooth — no astringency, no harshness. The pronounced floral notes make it naturally pleasant without any additions. Re-steepable leaves — more value per tin. Quality oolong leaves reward a second steeping, often revealing softer, subtler flavors on the second pour. One tin goes further than most teas at this price point. A sophisticated gift and conversation starter. For customers who appreciate tea with a story, Imperial Gold Oolong is an easy recommendation — refined enough to feel like a discovery, approachable enough to become a daily ritual.
