Author: Sarah Welk Baynum  Paperback: 314 pages Size:  6 x  9 inches For twenty-two year old Emma Walker, life’s challenges consisted of dealing with a bad breakup, balancing work and finishing up college - pretty average. Although, one thing has always set Emma apart from her peers. Something that has been her happy place, motivation and the one true love in her life since the age of twelve: Horses. When a horse named Valentine that Emma has a special connection with enters her life (after the death of her first horse years prior), she opens her heart back up and eagerly begins training to compete her in the sport of show-jumping. One seemingly ordinary day, Emma receives news that impels her to make a life altering decision that turns her world upside-down and takes her on a journey to live in place far from everything she’s ever known. While Emma fights to create a new future for herself, she is surprised when a guy from her past life shows up in the present. But is she ready to trust him, given her circumstances? Emma can only hope he is as trustworthy as he seems, especially since his arrival is timed perfectly with a threatening note. And what about Michael, the farm's live-in handyman, who has been slowly becoming her friend and confidant? Emma’s decision will change her life ways she never anticipated, then put her directly in the path of someone who will threaten everything she loves–as well as her and Valentine’s lives. Can Emma have the future she has worked so hard to build or will an unknown stranger bent on destroying her do so first? Impelled will take you on a journey with Emma as she and Valentine are pulled into twists & turns, put in danger, take you to some familiar USA horse capitals and then on a wild ride you will never see coming.
