Nature's Sunshine Product Advantage Nowhere else on the market can you find such a unique blend of products to bolster and support the human immune system. Nature's Immune Stimulator has been meticulously designed to promote macrophage activity in your body, leading to a chain reaction of immune activity, which will strengthen your entire system against enemy attack. Ingredients Nature's Immune Stimulator is a combination of these powerful components: • Beta Glucans 1/3 and 1/6 are long-chain polysaccharides that stimulate the immune system into action. Because they resemble bacteria, beta glucans are able to trick the body into an immune response, triggering an increase in the production of macrophages, T-cells, B-cells, natural killer cells, cytokines and antibodies. • Arabinogalactan stimulates natural killer cell and macrophage activity. It increases the production of essential nutrients for organisms beneficial to the gastrointestinal tract. These nutrients, principally butyrate and propionate, decrease the generation and absorption of ammonia, a toxic compound. Arabinogalactan also helps increase Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus flora, two beneficial types of bacteria. • Colostrum is the first milk produced by mammals before the onset of lactation. This substance is rich in protein and immune-protecting transfer factors. Studies show that colostrum supports the immune system of the newborn, and it can also improve health later in life. It helps increase the number immunoglobulin proteins in the intestinal tract to fight foreign microorganisms. • Reishi Mushroom and Maitake Mushroom are both from the same family (polyporaceae), and their similar polysaccharide content is thought to boost immune activity, increase the activation of natural killer cells and activate macrophages. • Cordyceps is a potent antioxidant that protects the genes by promoting the repair of DNA. Studies show that it may help the body suppress tumor cells, slowing their proliferation. Cordyceps increases T-cell and B-cell activity. These two groups kill foreign invaders. Recommended Use For maintenance, take 1 capsule between meals two or three times daily For periods of immune-system stress, take 6-10 capsules daily. Those with any autoimmune conditions should seek advice from a health care practitioner before using this product.
