Start Electric start Track system Automatic tensioning rubber tracks Advanced Honda Engine and Smart Controls The IMER – TRACKER 1624 is powered by Honda’s latest electronic‑controlled gasoline engine, designed to deliver exceptional power, responsiveness, and fuel efficiency for heavy concrete handling. This engine integrates electronic control for starting, automatic idle, and speed management, helping reduce fuel consumption and noise while maximizing output. The buggy features 3‑level speed control that lets the operator select the right speed for the task—slow for tight placement or delicate maneuvering, and faster for longer hauls across the jobsite. Auto idle reduces engine speed when the controls are not engaged, cutting fuel use and engine wear during waiting times. A CAN‑Bus digital touch screen dashboard provides real‑time information on hours, battery voltage, fuel consumption, percentage engine load, and diagnostic codes. This smart display helps operators and fleet managers monitor machine health, plan maintenance, and troubleshoot issues quickly in the field. Poly Bucket, Fixed and Swivel Dump Options The IMER – TRACKER 1624 tracked concrete buggy is equipped with a large poly drum (tub) designed specifically for concrete and similar materials. Poly construction helps resist sticking, makes cleanup easier, and reduces the chance of corrosion compared to bare steel tubs. Two main bucket configurations are available: Fixed bucket model (5110001): Ideal for straight‑line pouring and simple forward dumps into forms, trenches, and slabs. Swivel dump model (5110002): Allows the tub to swivel and dump to the side, which is extremely useful when working along forms, in tight spaces, or next to trenches where direct forward dumping is not practical. With a struck capacity of 16 cu ft and a heaped capacity of 19 cu ft, the bucket allows the IMER – TRACKER 1624 to transport significantly more concrete per trip than smaller tracked buggies. The high payload reduces trips and labor, especially on larger slabs, driveways, and commercial pours. Track System, Terrain Capability, and Stability The Tracker 1624 uses an innovative track system designed to keep the rubber tracks perfectly tensioned at all times. This automatic track tensioning improves traction, reduces track wear, and ensures optimal contact with the ground across different terrain types. Rubber tracks spread the machine’s weight and provide superior grip on mud, gravel, wet subgrades, and slopes, making it suitable for rough and uneven jobsites. The narrow design allows the buggy to fit through common 36‑inch doors and gates while still providing a stable stance when loaded. Stability is further enhanced by the low‑slung design of the tub and chassis, which keeps the center of gravity low even with a full load of concrete. This combination of automatic track tensioning, wide contact patch, and low center of gravity helps the Tracker 1624 travel safely across rough ground and inclines with improved operator confidence. Operator Comfort, Platform, and Controls The IMER – TRACKER 1624 – Tracked Concrete Buggy is engineered with operator comfort in mind to support long days on busy sites. The operator platform is double rubber shock mounted, significantly reducing vibration transmitted to the operator’s feet and legs. A hydraulic joystick is used for speed control, giving operators precise, intuitive command over acceleration and deceleration in all three speed ranges. This joystick‑based control system allows fine positioning around forms and rebar while still offering high transport speeds when needed. The modern control layout, combined with the CAN‑Bus digital dashboard, makes the machine easy to operate even for new users, while offering the monitoring capabilities demanded by experienced contractors and rental fleets. Reduced noise, lower vibration, and ergonomic controls collectively help reduce fatigue and enhance safety over long shifts. Typical Applications on the Jobsite The IMER – TRACKER 1624 tracked concrete buggy is purpose‑built for heavy‑duty concrete and material transport on demanding jobsites. Its high payload and poly tub make it ideal for: Moving concrete from ready‑mix trucks or portable mixers to forms for driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, and large slabs where pumps may be impractical or cost‑prohibitive. Transporting aggregates such as gravel, sand, and crushed stone across rough terrain and soft subgrades. Hauling demolition debris, spoils, and backfill material from excavations to disposal or stockpile areas. Working on residential, commercial, and industrial sites that require a combination of high capacity and the ability to navigate access gates, tight runs, or uneven surfaces. The swivel‑dump version is especially useful on projects with long form lines, retaining walls, or trenches along which side‑dumping can significantly reduce time and repositioning. Gas and Electric Options, Versatility, and Productivity Information from dealer and promotional materials notes that Tracker 1624 models are available in gas or electric versions, allowing contractors to choose the best power source for indoor or outdoor work. Gas versions are well‑suited for outdoor, high‑duty cycles, while electric models can tackle indoor projects more quietly and without emissions. The combination of a large 16–19 cu ft tub, 2,400 lb payload, tracked undercarriage, and smart engine controls means the IMER – TRACKER 1624 can dramatically reduce wheelbarrow runs and manual labor on concrete pours. On larger placements, the productivity gains can be significant, helping crews finish pours faster and with fewer workers dedicated solely to material transport. The rugged design and advanced track system also make this versatile buggy suitable for rental fleets, which demand machines that can handle diverse operators and job conditions with minimal downtime. Maintenance, Durability, and IMER Support The IMER – TRACKER 1624 is built with heavy‑duty components to withstand tough daily use in concrete construction environments. The poly tub resists corrosion and is easier to clean than steel, especially when concrete is washed out promptly after use. Powered by a Honda electronic‑controlled gasoline engine, the buggy benefits from Honda’s global support network and well‑documented service procedures. Routine maintenance includes monitoring engine oil and filters, inspecting the automatic track tension system, checking hydraulic oil levels, and verifying that the track and undercarriage components are in good condition. IMER and its dealers provide technical information, parts, and support for the Tracker 1624, including fixed and swivel models and related components. This backing helps ensure long machine life and quick service when needed, which is vital for contractors who rely on their concrete buggy to keep pours on schedule.
