IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers is a genuine IMER upgrade kit designed to equip Mortarman 120 Plus (now Mix 120 Plus) vertical shaft mixers with larger, heavy‑duty wheels for easier transport, better stability, and improved performance on jobsite terrain. This OEM wheel kit is specifically referenced for 2018‑era mixers and is the correct solution if you need to replace the original wheels or upgrade smaller pre‑2018 wheels to IMER’s newer large‑diameter design. What Is the IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers? Contractors Direct and IMER accessory listings identify the Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit under IMER part number 1107617, described as a wheel kit for the Mortarman 120 Plus (Mix 120 Plus) mixer. Durable Tool Hub explicitly markets it as the IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers, noting that all Mortarman 120 Plus mixers purchased after January 2018 come with the new larger wheels as standard. Key points from these listings: The kit is an OEM replacement and upgrade wheel kit for the Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus. It is intended for mixers designed around the updated wheel system used on 2018 and later machines. It replaces the smaller 4" wheels (part number 3205257) found on older versions. In practice, this wheel kit allows owners of 2018‑spec Mortarman 120 Plus mixers—or earlier mixers being brought up to 2018 wheel spec—to maintain or upgrade mobility to IMER’s current standard. Compatibility with Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus IMER rebranded the Mortarman 120 Plus as the Mix 120 Plus vertical shaft mixer, but the core machine and frame remain the same. Product pages and parts lists show: Model names: Mortarman 120 Plus (older name). Mix 120 Plus (current name) – same mixer, new branding. The wheel kit 1107617 is listed under “IMER Mortar Mixer Accessories” specifically for the MM120+ / Mortarman 120 Plus. Durable Tool Hub explains that: All IMER Mortarman 120 Plus mixers purchased after Jan 2018 ship with larger wheels already installed. The wheel kit is used to replace smaller 4" wheels PN 3205257 on earlier units or to maintain the larger‑wheel configuration on 2018‑spec mixers. If you own a Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus built around or after 2018, this kit is the correct OEM wheel replacement. For mixers built before January 2018, the same part is marketed as the wheel kit used to upgrade from small 4" wheels to the newer, larger style. Wheel Size and Construction The Mortarman 120 Plus manual lists standard wheel dimensions of 300 mm (about 11.8") on the mixer. That spec reflects the large main wheels mounted on the rear legs of the frame. However, IMER parts lists and accessory notes also reference smaller 4" wheels (PN 3205257) used as loading or transport wheels, which the 1107617 wheel kit replaces with larger wheels. From IMER and dealer information: The Mix 120 Plus is equipped with: Hard solid wheels for rolling across floors and jobsite surfaces. Additional loading wheels to help tilt and move the mixer. The 2018 wheel kit: Upgrades the small 4" wheels PN 3205257 to the new larger wheel style, improving ground clearance and rolling performance. Uses heavy‑duty solid wheel construction suitable for rough jobsite conditions. Combined with the frame and telescopic support legs, the larger wheels help maintain the 30" wide x 33" long compact footprint while making it easier to reposition the 130–140 kg machine over uneven terrain. Why IMER Introduced the 2018 Wheel Update Jobsite mobility is a key part of the Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus value proposition. IMER and dealer descriptions emphasize: The mixer is designed to roll through standard doorways and move around tight interior spaces. It is meant to eliminate the need for towing a trailer mixer, allowing crews to move a vertical shaft mixer directly to the work area. However, smaller 4" wheels can: Struggle with debris, cords, or rough concrete. Sink into soft ground or gravel. Make it harder to tilt and roll a fully assembled mixer. The 2018 wheel kit with larger wheels improves: Ground clearance – easier to roll across uneven surfaces and over obstacles. Stability and balance when tilting or moving the mixer. Durability under repeated jobsite movement. That’s why all Mortarman 120 Plus mixers sold after January 2018 ship with the larger wheels standard, and the wheel kit exists both as a replacement and a retrofit for earlier units. What’s Included in the IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit While supplier pages do not list every individual component in the 1107617 kit, IMER accessory listings and the mixer manual give a clear sense of what is involved: Typical elements in a genuine IMER wheel kit include: Two replacement wheels Larger‑diameter hard solid wheels designed for the Mortarman 120 Plus frame and axle size. Axle/fastening hardware Cotter pins, washers, and any specific mounting hardware required to secure the wheels to the rear legs or loading wheel brackets, as referenced in the assembly instructions. Compatibility with existing legs The kit is meant to fit the rear legs and frame of the Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus as shown in the IMER assembly diagrams. If you are upgrading from older small wheels, the kit provides everything needed to remove the 4" wheels and mount the newer design in their place. Installation on Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus The Mortarman 120 Plus manual describes how the mixer’s legs and wheels are installed when the machine is first assembled: Fit the wheels into the rear legs and lock them with their cotters. Raise the mixer and fit the front and rear legs; lock the legs at the desired height with their lock pins. When using the wheel kit on a 2018 mixer or retrofitting an older unit: Safely support the mixer so the existing wheels are off the ground. Remove the cotter pins, washers, and old 4" wheels (if present). Install the new larger wheels from the kit, reusing or replacing axle hardware as supplied. Confirm that the wheels rotate freely and the mixer sits level when the telescopic legs are locked at the desired height. Because the wheel kit is designed specifically for the Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus frame, installation is straightforward and doesn’t require frame modification. Benefits of the IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers Upgrading or maintaining your Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus with the correct IMER wheel kit brings several tangible benefits: Improved mobility Larger wheels roll more easily over rough concrete, thresholds, and minor jobsite debris, making it easier for 2–4 person crews to reposition the mixer. Better stability when moving The larger contact patch and improved geometry provide a steadier feel when tilting and rolling a loaded or partially loaded mixer. Reduced strain on workers Easier rolling and tilting means less physical effort is needed to move the 130+ kg machine, supporting safer, more efficient workflows. OEM fit and reliability Designed by IMER for the Mortarman 120 Plus, the kit matches the frame, leg spacing, and overall dimensions specified in the mixer’s technical data. Maintains full mixer capabilities Mobility upgrades complement the mixer’s core performance—4.25 cu ft drum capacity, 3 cu ft output, 2 HP motor, and high‑torque gearbox—without affecting mixing efficiency. For contractors who frequently move their Mortarman 120 Plus across large or uneven jobsites, the wheel kit is a practical, productivity‑boosting upgrade. How the Wheel Kit Supports the Mix 120 Plus Use Cases The Mix 120 Plus (Mortarman 120 Plus) is widely used for mixing: Mortar and stucco. Grout and dry‑pack. Specialty mixes with optional rubber paddle kits. It’s designed to: Replace bulky towable mixers and work in tight spaces. Be rolled indoors through standard doorways for interior work. Be paired with IMER spray and grout pumps for semi‑automatic production. The IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers aligns with these use cases by: Making it faster to get the mixer from truck to work area. Improving handling when moving between rooms, floors, or zones on a project. Helping protect floors and reduce bounce when rolling over finished surfaces, thanks to solid, correctly sized wheels. As IMER and distributors note, wheels on a mixer must be strong enough to withstand construction terrain while still allowing controlled movement by a small crew. The 2018 wheel kit is IMER’s solution to that requirement for the Mortarman 120 Plus. Why Choose the IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers If you own an IMER Mortarman 120 Plus / Mix 120 Plus and want to keep it as mobile and job‑ready as possible, the IMER Mortarman 120 Plus Wheel Kit for 2018 Mixers is the right OEM accessory to install. It is specifically engineered to: Replace worn or damaged wheels on 2018‑spec mixers that shipped with larger wheels. Upgrade older mixers that still use small 4" wheels (PN 3205257) to the more robust 2018 wheel standard. With the correct wheel kit, your Mortarman 120 Plus maintains its reputation as a compact, powerful, and easily transported vertical shaft mixer that can out‑produce larger towable mixers—especially when moving between indoor and outdoor work areas is part of your daily routine.
