"Illgen Falls" - Silver Bay, MN | by Cody Larson

From the Photographer: "After my attempt of capturing a vibrant sunrise over Lake Superior was declined by Mother Nature, I migrated inland to a very familiar location for me. I had a hunch that the conditions of the day would be perfect for a shot I had been envisioning. Descending down the muddy, slippery slopes to the river was tricky but well worth it for this shot. I grew up in Silver Bay and have taken many photos of this waterfall but this one is by far my favorite."
