The original Nike shoe is back on shelves just as it was in 1971, minus the waffle iron of course, with the WMNS Moon Shoe OG "Italy Blue". Before Nike was even called Nike, Bill Bowerman created the company's first running shoe using his wife's waffle iron. They called it the Moon Shoe from the crater-like impressions it would leave in soft surfaces.
