iFi NEO Stream | Desktop DAC, Amp, and Streamer

NEO Stream from iFi: built to deliver optimal versatility and class leading performance as a music streaming DAC Wireless, ethernet, or optical 10Gb streamer with built-in DAC iFi's proprietary open-source streaming architecture (supports Roon, DLNA, uPnP, Airplay) iFi's app provides easy setup and NAS streaming Incorporates iFi's iPurifier technology to eliminate noise and interference Rack mount kit available Bloom's Take The iFi NEO Stream takes the functionality of iFi's popular ZEN Stream to the next level. It features a streamlined setup process and improved stability, along with a built-in DAC for greater flexibility. NEO Stream provides a powerful tool for music streaming at a cost previously unattainable without spending more than its $1,299 price tag. Sweet Streams The latest device to join iFi’s mid-level NEO Series is a music streamer/DAC that delivers class-leading versatility and performance. Whether it be from online services or personal locally stored files, digital streaming is now the primary method by which music is consumed. Since there are various ways to invite network music streaming into one’s home, building a system from well-chosen components will achieve the best sound quality. The NEO Stream is different from other music streamers on the market thanks to its clean-sheet design and proprietary tech. It removes many of the technical limitations from competitor products and is the ideal streamer for music lovers who want to access their music through their choice of app or music platform. NEO by Name, and by Nature The Stream is the second device (the 1st being the NEO iDSD) to join the NEO Series sitting between the ZEN Series and PRO Series. The NEO iDSD remains current, and while it may be tempting to assume the NEO Stream is a NEO iDSD with a streaming module and headphone amp removed, this would not be accurate. While visually similar, this is a new kind of music streamer! Superb Sound, No Matter How You Stream There are multiple ways in which the NEO Stream can interface with online streaming services or music stored on your local network, with more to come: Roon Ready DLNA/UPnP (e.g. BubbleUPnP, mconnect, Audirvana etc.) Integrated Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect Apple AirPlay NAA Operation (Network Audio Adapter in conjunction with Sygnalist HQPlayer) Streaming from Local Storage / NAS with Stream-iFi App Custom DAC The NEO Stream’s integral DAC stage takes your streaming enjoyment to another level. Four-channel True Native hi-res DAC design: supports PCM 768kHz & DSD 512 Powerful 16-core XMOS CPU: performs full MQA decoding (to 384kHz) Thanks to this new DAC design, PCM and DSD take separate pathways and remain bit-perfect in their direct, native form through to analog conversion. For DSD, there is no conversion to PCM or application of multi-bit processing. Unique Optical LAN For hard-wire networking instead of WiFi, the NEO Stream includes a unique option alongside its RJ45 and M12 ports: iFi's proprietary optical LAN. Connect the OptiBox transceiver (included) to the router and the NEO Stream to the OptiBox via optical cable (included.) Benefit from the highest quality digital audio connection possible between the router and streamer: Ultra-fast data speeds of up to 10Gbps Bit-perfect transmission of ultra-resolution audio Minimal degradation across distances of up to 1km Come On, Heal the Noise! The NEO Stream has been engineered to remove noise and distortion from the audio signal: USB ports use iFi ANC II active noise cancellation S/PDIF uses iPurifier technology Digital signal regulated by iFi GMT (Global Master Timing) clock to remove jitter TFT display boasts SilentLine design to eliminate any electrical noise Low ESR, high linearity, and low noise circuit components Suits You, Sir Several settings allow users to tailor the NEO Stream’s performance to suit their systems and streaming preference with unique settings for Roon, Tidal Masters, DLNA and NAA, and general use. Four user-selectable digital filters can be switched according to personal taste and music choice: Bit-Perfect GTO (Gibbs Transient Optimized) Minimum Phase Standard Specifications Inputs Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz) with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac support Gigabit Ethernet (LAN) (x1) RJ45 (x1) M12 (x1) Optical LAN USB-A: (x2) *USB2.0 and SuperSpeed USB3.0 supported USB-C system update port (Over The Air updates also available) Outputs Analog (x1) stereo RCA (Impedance: ≤37Ω) (x1) 4.4mm balanced (Impedance: ≤74Ω) Ultra-res Digital (PCM 768kHz, DSD512) (x1) HDMI-I2S (x1) USB-A (USB3.0) Hi-res S/PDIF Digital (PCM 192kHz) (x1) Optical (x1) COAX (x1) AES/EBU General Formats DSD: up to 512 / 22.6MHz PCM: up to 768kHz MQA: Full Decoder SNR: -106dB(A) @ 0dBFS THD+N: 0.0025% @ 0dBFS PS Req.: DC 9V/2.0A, 12V/1.8A, 15V/1.2A* (centre pin +) Power Consumption: <0.5W idle, 14W MAX Dimensions: 8.4" x 5.9" x 1.6" (214mm x 151mm x 41mm) Net Weight: 2.26 Ibs (1 kg) 1 Year Limited Warranty | User Manual | Quick Start Guide
