No more web browsers or IP addresses; just simple, direct access, in the palm of your hand. Built to Sound Better. The NEO Stream 3 delivers best-in-class sound through intelligent, uncompromising hardware design and signal optimisation: Upgraded polymer and ELNA Silmic II caps for cleaner power and smoother treble response. USB and S/PDIF outputs use a femto-precision clock combined Active Noise Cancellation and iPurification tech respectively, for ultra-low distortion performance. Included OptiBox adds optical galvanic isolation to eliminate wired network noise User-selectable Exclusive Modes shut down unnecessary OS processes to minimise software noise and jitter Studio-Grade Restoration for any Setup. The NEO Stream is the latest in iFi’s lineup to incorporate JVCKENWOOD’s K2HD Technology , which takes the often cold, clinical character of many modern recordings, then restores harmonic content lost in post-production or encoding, while also up sampling any audio track below 192kHz. The result is renewed depth, nuance and musicality – a truer representation of the original master, and of the artists’ and engineers’ intent. Previously available exclusively to select iFi audio DACs, any DAC connected to a NEO Stream can now enjoy the incredible benefits of K2HD technology. NEO Design: The Purist’s Delight The NEO Stream 3 follows the design philosophy of its siblings – more than just an aesthetic, every NEO offers a complete, comprehensive solution for the needs of audio purists. For the NEO Stream 3, the foundation of this approach is the award-winning DAC stage, built around a Burr-Brown chipset. Selected for its natural detail and musicality, the chipset’s unique architecture processes PCM and DSD via separate pathways, preserving a bit-perfect signal all the way through to analogue conversion. The DAC stage is then highly customised to allow sample rates far beyond the standard specifications. The result is a true all-in-one solution for purist Hi-Fi performance. In one stroke, the NEO Stream 3 adds a complete digital audio package, free from performance bottlenecks, from source to speakers. The NEO Stream 3 is an excellent choice for DSD purists. The NEO Stream 3 is built upon the latest generation of our ultra-resolution streaming engine, with native support for up to 768kHz PCM and DSD512 audio.
