iFi Audio SilentPower iSilencer+ USB Noise Filter

iFi iSilencer+ USB Noise Filter When it comes to connecting your audio gear via USB, it's important to consider the pros and cons. While USB is capable of transmitting high-resolution data and achieving bit-perfect transfers, it was not originally designed for audio purposes. USB carries both power and data, making it susceptible to electrical noise, often emanating from your computer's power supply. This can significantly impact the quality of your audio. But don't fret, because iFi Audio has the solution: the iSilencer+. This nifty device seamlessly plugs into your computer's USB port, acting as a bridge between your computer and your DAC. It swiftly eliminates electrical noise, including both EMI and RFI, right at the source. The result? Your music becomes clearer, warmer, and more transparent, with enhanced bass. For an even more effective solution, the iSilencer+ can be plugged into unused USB ports as well, further reducing radiated EMI. Each time you double the number of units (and thus the number of ANC II circuits), you double the noise reduction capability - a double whammy indeed. What sets the iSilencer+ apart is its use of Active Noise Cancellation II® technology, working to reduce noise in a manner similar to noise-canceling headphones. The REBalance® technology is employed to eliminate clicks and distortion, enhancing your audio experience. The circuitry has been upgraded, with low-ESR tantalum capacitors added for improved input and output filtering. In fact, the filtering capacitance has been increased tenfold. And why should you choose the iSilencer+? It's not just about the name; it's about more options, improved filtering, and, most importantly, more silence. With three versions available, including the newer USB-C connector, you have the flexibility to choose the one that suits your needs: USB-A to USB-A USB-C to USB-A USB-C to USB-C So, plug in the iSilencer+ and enjoy the pristine sound quality it brings to your Hi-Fi audio setup. Say goodbye to distortion, pops, and clicks, and hello to a whole new level of audio clarity and purity. User Manual
