iFi Audio SilentPower SupaNova Active Power Cable

iFi Audio SupaNova Power Cable The SupaNova power cable features five conductors, each constructed from heavy-gauge, continuous-cast OFHC (Oxygen-Free High Thermal Conductivity) copper. These conductors are arranged in a geometrically balanced configuration, which is quite exceptional given its price point. Two pairs of live and neutral conductors run on either side of the earth conductor, positioned at the cable's center. Additionally, a pair of air-dielectric delineators, essentially polymer matrix tubes filled with air, flanks the earth conductor. This design not only keeps the live and neutral conductors apart but also enhances the cable's overall dielectric performance and structural integrity. The cable is further equipped with a durable yet flexible polymer outer sheath and iFi's bespoke audiophile-grade connectors, featuring 24ct gold-plated oxygen-free copper conductors. Ground Zero Design: The SupaNova cable's unique construction goes beyond just balanced conductors. The ground conductor is arranged in a shotgun configuration rather than being twisted like other mains cables. Live and neutral conductors are symmetrically balanced, ensuring that their magnetic fields cancel each other out perfectly. This innovative approach eliminates any residual magnetic field and unwanted induced voltage on the ground conductor, aptly named the "Ground Zero" design. Active Noise Cancellation II Technology: iFi's SupaNova takes it a step further by incorporating Active Noise Cancellation II technology, which actively eliminates more noise across the entire frequency range compared to passive solutions. This technology operates similarly to noise-cancelling headphones, employing inverse noise current to eliminate mains signal noise. Additional Features: The SupaNova power cable also includes a Wireless Purification System to reduce power-line noise without adverse effects, a Ground/Earth connection diagnostic, polarity detection for ensuring correct polarity, and Over-voltage Surge Protection to safeguard your equipment. By combining the sophistication of the Nova with Active Noise Cancellation II, the SupaNova serves as an all-in-one clean-power cable solution, offering improved clarity, definition, dynamics, and spatial qualities in your audio and AV systems. Unlike many power-conditioning products that rely on passive noise reduction, iFi's active system effectively reduces noise consistently across the entire frequency spectrum while maintaining a compact and lightweight design. The Wireless Purification System ensures that noise reduction doesn't compromise dynamics. The Over-voltage Surge Protection feature acts as an auto-detection and cut-off circuit, safeguarding your equipment from power surges. The Intelligent Ground is a smart diagnostic tool, actively providing an earth/ground connection only when needed to avoid ground loops. The Ground Zero design maintains a constant impedance, ensuring the purity of mains electricity flowing into your equipment. In summary, the SupaNova power cable from iFi Audio offers a comprehensive solution to enhance your audio and AV systems' performance while actively addressing mains-related noise, setting a new standard in power cable design. iFi Audio SupaNova Specifications: Noise Reduction: 40dB (> 100x) Surge Protection: Maximum 10,000A @ 775V / 8/20uS Under Operating Voltage: Maximum operating rating: 10A at 250Vac 15A at 125Vac Length: 1.8 m (70.8") Weight: US: 675 g (1.49 lbs) Tutorials
