IE Harsh Climate 5" Oiled Air Filter & Sock Upgrade Kit

EXPLORE WITH CONFIDENCE Upgrading your IE 5" velocity stack intake with our harsh climate filter kit will further keep your engine safe when traveling on dirt roads, sandy beaches, or anywhere with dusty contaminants in the air.  KIT DETAILS This complete filter kit uses a 3 step approach to combat harsh climates. The filter has been increased from a 6 pleat construction to 8 pleats to increase cotton density. The cotton pleats are then treated with a penetrating filter oil to further catch and trap particulates. As a final measure, a pre-filter sock adds a final layer of protection over the filter. Together, these 3 barriers offer superior filtration for your intake system over our standard performance air filter. KIT CONTENTS: 1X IE oiled 8 pleat density performance 5" filter 1X IE pre-filter intake sock 1X Air filter worm clamp  RECHARGING As the air filter does its job of effectively catching more particulates, eventually it will have to be cleaned and maintained. We recommend washing your cotton filter in water with a little Dawn dish soap, rinsing thoroughly, and allowing it to completely air dry. To replace the oil, any off-the-shelf filter oil kit from your local auto parts supply chain can be used. Do not over-oil the filter, a little goes a long way.  COMPATIBLE INTAKES Our 5" Harsh Climate Oiled Air Filter & Sock Upgrade Kit is a direct replacement filter for all popular IE air intake kits with a 5" velocity stack.  IEINCI11 - IE MQB 2.0T/1.8T Gen 3 Cold Air Intake IEINCK3 - IE Carbon Fiber Intake System For Audi B9 S4 & S5 3.0T IEINCG2A - IE Audi 3.0T Cold Air Intake For B8/B8.5 S4 & B8.5 S5 IEINCN1 - IE Audi 3.0T Cold Air Intake For C7 A6 & A7 IEINSG1 - IE Audi 3.0T Cold Air Intake For 8R SQ5 & Q5 IEINCG1 - IE Audi 2.0T TSI Cold Air Intake For B8/B8.5 A4 & A5 IEINCK1 - IE Audi B9 A4 & A5 Cold Air Intake IEINCW1 - IE Cold Air Intake System For VW MQB Tiguan 2.0T IEINCV1 - IE Performance Intake System For VW Atlas 2.0T IEINCC2 - IE 2.0T TSI Cold Air Intake For VW MK5, MK6 GTI, Jetta, CC & 8P A3 IEINCB4 - IE 2.0T FSI Cold Air Intake Kit For MK6 Golf R, A3, MK5 GTI, Jetta IEINCC4 - IE Gen 3 2.0T/1.8T Cold Air Intake For 2013-2018 MK6 Jetta & GLI IEINCJ1 - IE  Carbon Fiber Intake For Audi TTS MK2 IEINCI4 - IE VW 1.4T Cold Air Intake For VW MK6 Jetta
