Idiom

Mike Shaw's IDIOM Six Minutes of Pure, Impossible Mentalism! Imagine this: a box of letter tiles is handed to your spectator. They mix them up, take out a handful let's say twelve tiles and without you ever looking, the impossible begins... Phase One: Instantly, you tell them the highest and lowest value letters they hold. No peeks. No fishing. Just straight, impossible knowledge. Phase Two: You push things further, naming words they could spell from their random selection. Three letter words. Four. Five. Six. Even SEVEN letter words all divined in real time, as though you're seeing inside their mind. Phase Three: You write a prediction on a board. They add up the values of their tiles... and when the total is revealed, it matches your prediction perfectly! The Finale: You remind them they didn't just choose which letters to remove, they chose which ones to leave behind. You place those remaining tiles on the stand and arrange them into a NINE letter word. When the board is turned around... it's another spot on hit. A show-stopping ending that leaves jaws on the floor! And here's the kicker this is just ONE of the incredible routines possible with Idiom. On the in-depth tutorial, Peter Nardi and Daniel Chard walk you through their favorite handlings, subtleties, and applications. Perform it as a demonstration of superhuman mental powers. Perform it as hard-hitting mentalism. Perform it YOUR way. With Idiom, you get everything you need straight out of the box to start amazing audiences immediately. Mike Shaw's Idiom is not just a trick... a full, powerhouse routine that belongs in your act. Why Tannen’s Loves Idiom At Tannen’s, we’re always drawn to mentalism that feels fair, layered, and impossible - and Idiom delivers on all three. What sets this routine apart is how openly the process unfolds: the spectator handles the tiles, makes every choice, and yet the revelations keep escalating with absolute clarity. It plays big for parlor or stage, but still feels intimate and intelligent, making it a rare example of a modern mentalism routine that’s both deeply deceptive and genuinely engaging to watch.
