Its durability allows for thousands of impressions, but like all stamps, it will eventually need to be re-inked. Here's how you can easily refresh your stamp for continued high-quality impressions: Purchase the Correct Ink: Ensure you have water-based ink suitable for self-inking stamps. Popular brands like Trodat and Ideal offer reliable ink options. Remove the Ink Pad: Slightly press the stamp to access the ink pad compartment. Release the locking mechanism to slide out the pad. Apply the New Ink: Apply a few drops of the water-based ink evenly across the surface of the pad. Be careful not to oversaturate, as this can cause smudging. Reinsert the Ink Pad: Once inked, carefully slide the pad back into the stamp housing until it clicks securely.
