Icom HM196B Waterproof Standard Hand Microphone (IPX7)

Icom HM196B Waterproof Standard Hand Microphone (IPX7) Reliable Communication in Harsh Marine Environments The Icom HM196B is a rugged, professional-grade hand microphone specifically designed for Icom marine fixed-mount transceivers. In the unpredictable conditions of open-water transit, standard microphones often fail due to salt spray, heavy rain, or accidental submersion. This microphone solves that durability challenge with an IPX7 waterproof rating, allowing it to withstand complete immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without losing functionality.  Beyond its physical resilience, the HM196B is engineered for operational efficiency. It features integrated controls that allow the operator to adjust critical radio settings without reaching for the main transceiver unit. With high-tactility buttons for channel selection and transmission power, it ensures that clear, effective communication is always within hand's reach, even when navigating rough seas.
