Beale Street Audio Professional Audio Ceiling SpeakerFeatures their Sound Vortex® Technology that uses a unique sprial in the enclosure to create six tuned ports that not only add bass but also a wider dispersion pattern and improved clarity for richer sound - this is a very unique and premium feature over "open-back" ceiling speakers. The enclosed back of Beale Street speakers prevents the bleeding of sound to other rooms while giving the lower octave a boost of 6-9db!
