Ibis Jasper Palm Stone (#1)

Ibis Jasper Palm Stone (#1) Origin: Madagascar Weight: 52.53 grams Dimensions: 1.625"x1.5"x.5" I am excited to present Ibis Jasper as a new stone to Simply Affinity. Ibis Jasper is a new find in the gem community. It is a unique and rare type of brecciated jasper from Madagascar. These gems are actually made up of broken pieces of stones and minerals that have been fused together by different varieties of Quartz. This makes for extremely unique patterning and layering within each piece, so no two stones are alike in color or pattern! It was given the name "Ibis Jasper" because its coloring and patterns are very reminiscent of the Ibis bird. Ibis Jasper is very much associated with healing. The way that Ibis jasper forms - first the breaking down of stones, then the repair and healing, and in the end,  you are left with something extremely beautiful. In the same way, we go through pitfalls in life that break us down, but in the end we are a stronger and more beautiful version of ourselves! Ibis Jasper is a great reminder of this, and a great stone to accompany you through your journey to healing.    *Please note: Photos were taken in natural lighting. This is a natural gem that will have imperfections.
