Ibanez Genesis Collection RG550 Electric Guitar - Desert Sun Yellow

Originally released in 1987, the Ibanez RG550 quickly became a favorite among rock and metal guitarists. The Genesis Collection reissue pays tribute to that classic design while introducing a few modern refinements. The once single-piece maple neck is now a sturdy 5-piece laminate of maple and walnut. Its iconic HSH pickup layout has been updated with high-performance V7 and V8 humbuckers for expanded tonal range. With a sleek, contoured basswood body, the RG550 delivers warm lows and a focused midrange punch that slices through any mix. The Edge tremolo lets you twist, bend, and dive-bomb with confidence. Finished with bold black hardware and unmistakable attitude, the RG550 remains a lightning-fast, hard-rocking guitar built for serious players.
