For I Was Hungry - Studio Canvas Giclée (small)

Christ's timeless message of compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves is vividly demonstrated in the contemporary setting of this recent Nathan Greene painting. Here, amid the hustle and bustle of urban life, a young child hands a weary homeless man a just-purchased Subway sandwich. In the background, her father, seated on a city bench, looks up from his lunch. A vibrant palette of rich reds and greens creates a strong visual path to the man's hand receiving the meal. An unconcerned pedestrian walks by as concrete buildings and traffic loom large and indifferent in this modern adaption of the Good Samaritan. "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink." Matthew 25:35 A Studio Canvas Giclée is the closest possible reproduction to Nathan's original artwork. It is displayed exactly like an original oil painting, in a frame without glass. You will have the richness and depth of color on the texture of canvas, with all the exquisite detail of the original. Nathan hand paints each Giclée with his signature. This limited edition collector's piece will be a source of pleasure and inspiration for you and all who view it for many years to come.
