Select -  1+ to buy paper pattern or click box download pattern. Intermediate 4″ wide x 5" high   41 pieces Woodland Ornament "Red Fox Pup" peeking out of a tree knot hole. I used the following  3/4” & 1/2" thick wood for this project;  Red Fox - 3/4" Spanish Cedar for the Medium, Western Red Cedar for the Medium Dark, Walnut & Spanish Cedar for the eyes, Aspen for the White, and 3/4" Ambrosia Maple for the sides of the opening. I used 1/2" thick Western Red Cedar for the tree portion on the front and the back of the ornament. I used the WRC because it is light weight. A Wonder Wheel  or use a 6" diameter wire brush for adding texture. I attached the wire brush to my bench grinder, be sure to wear eye protection. Suggested Blades:  Gold #5 for Western Red Cedar, Pine, or any softwood. Platinum Plus #3,  Platinum #5,  TLB #5  for the Aspen and Basswood.  PLP #2/0, or TLB #2/0 to cut the interior lines (after the exterior lines are cut).
