HydroWeb Heavy Duty Landing Net

HydroWeb HD-80 Trophy Catfish Landing Net Designed for the Largest Catfish that North America has to offer   The HydroWeb HD-80 Heavy-Duty Trophy Catfish Landing Net is engineered specifically for handling massive trophy catfish and other heavyweight freshwater fish, with an emphasis on conservation and safe catch-and-release practices. Here’s what makes the HD-80 stand out: Key Features & Benefits of the HydroWeb HD-80 Heavy-Duty Construction for Large Catches Built to handle the biggest trophy catfish, the HD-80 features double-reinforced aluminum hoop construction. This sturdy build provides the strength necessary to support and control large fish, reducing the risk of damage to the net or the fish during landing. Floating, Sliding Fiberglass Handles Equipped with fiberglass handles that float, the HD-80 is designed with durability and convenience in mind. The sliding handle feature allows anglers to easily extend or retract the net, adjusting as needed for different environments and fish sizes, and prevents accidental loss of the net in deep waters. Conservation-Focused Knotless Nylon Webbing The HD-80 is crafted with knotless nylon webbing coated with a smooth, flexible rubber layer. This unique webbing reduces the risk of tangling and protects fish scales and skin, making it ideal for conservation-minded anglers focused on CPR (Catch/Photo/Release). This design significantly lowers the chance of injury to the fish, supporting a healthier release back into the water. Sewn-In Mushroom Bottom for Safe Fish Handling Featuring a sewn-in mushroom bottom, the net naturally cradles the fish, reducing rolling or excessive movement that can stress or injure the fish. This design cradles the fish comfortably, allowing anglers to safely handle, photograph, and release their catch. Large Mesh for Reduced Water Drag The 1¾” mesh size of the HD-80 is specifically engineered to reduce water drag, making it easier to maneuver in strong currents like those of the Mississippi River. This mesh design allows anglers to land big fish quickly and efficiently, with minimal resistance from the net. Lightweight and Balanced for Easy Handling Despite its heavy-duty capabilities, the HD-80 is lightweight and balanced for easy use. This thoughtful design helps reduce fatigue, making it easier to land multiple large fish in one outing without straining the angler’s arms or shoulders. Handmade in the USA with Quality Craftsmanship HydroWeb landing nets, including the HD-80, are proudly handmade in the USA, reflecting high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Each net is constructed with careful attention to detail, ensuring durability and performance for the most demanding fishing conditions.
